conditions and rainfall, but these annuals appear on rocky slopes,

'Hearts for Horses' Campaign -
When
government helicopters stampeded the last wild horses out of the snowy
Calico Mountains into traps outside of the public’s view, Terri Farley,
author of HarperCollins’ best-selling PHANTOM STALLION series based on
the Calico mustangs, partners with The Cloud Foundation to launch the
'Hearts for Horses' campaign which answers the question: What can I do
to help the mustangs?

The nations leading voice for the national parks, the nonpartisan
National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), today said the
Administrations budget request for the national parks will barely cover
costs to pay the bills, let alone restore the operational needs to serve
park visitors and protect Americas wildlife and heritage for their
second century.
