A true minimalist, Palm Springs artist Ted Phillip Denton
produces contemporary works of art with an architectural
influence, featuring original large scale acrylic and multimedia
canvases, metal sculpture, and unique clay pieces.
A self-taught
artist and a true minimalist, Ted Phillip Denton produces
Contemporary Canvas Paintings. His metal work stretches from
small found metal to massive steel designs that always express
his love for architecture. He is especially partial to rusted
finishes, but occasionally, moves to powder coated primary
colors. His metal art is featured in a number of public art
programs including his local Palm Springs and Palm Desert
communities in Southern California’s Coachella Valley.

to the Wind...The sometimes harmonious, sometimes
dissonant interplay of earth, wind, water and the forces of
nature have always profoundly affected Ted's artistic creativity
and shaped his inner landscape, encouraging him to define sacred
space, sound and beauty in unique and magical ways. His bell
series of works embody these effects.

Phillip Denton Exhibits “Colors” – The
entire exhibit features contemporary paintings and powder coated
metal sculptures done in the colors of summer. Opening reception
is on July 3, 2009, from 5pm – 9pm. Show runs through summer at
the Ted Phillip Denton Contemporary Art Studio & Gallery.
